Name of the Post: Assistant Motor Vehicles Inspector
Age Limit: Candidates upper age limit should not exceed 30 years. Age relaxation will be applicable as per the rules.
Educational Qualification: (i) Degree in AutomobileEngineering
or
MechanicalEngineering awardedby the Recognized University with working experience of atleast one year in a reputed automobile workshop which undertakes repairs of Light Motor Vehicles. Heavy Goods Vehicles and Heavy Passenger Vehicles fitted with Petrol and Diesel Engine.
OR
Diploma in Automobile Engineering (3 years course) or Mechanical Engineering (3 years course) awarded by the State Board of Technical Education with working experience of at least two years in a reputed automobile workshop which undertakes repairs of Light Motor Vehicles. Heavy Goods Vehicles and Heavy Passenger Vehicles fitted with Petrol and Diesel Engine and : (ii) Must hold a driving
licence authorizing him to drive –
(a) Motor Cycle
(b)Transport Vehicles
(Heavy Goods vehicles
and Heavy passenger vehicles) obtained two years prior to the last date of receipt ofapplication:
(iii) Knowledge of Gujarati language is essential:
(iv) Preference for holders of Degree in Automobile/Mechanical Engineering
