Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must be a citizen of India. The minimum age limit set for the post of Clerk in Indian Overseas Bank is 18 years. And the maximum age limit set for the post is 28 years as on 1 January 2011. SC/ST categories candidates will get relaxation of 5 years in upper age limit. On the otherhand, OBC category candidates will get relaxation of 3 years in upper age limit.
Educational Qualification:
Candidates are required to have passed in HSC of 10+2+3 pattern with atleast 65% marks in aggregate from any recognized board. Candidates possessing Diploma in Banking with atleast 60% marks in aggregate from any recognized institute, are also eligible for applying on the post of Clerk in Indian Overseas Bank. Graduate candidates are desirable for the post though. Computer Literacy is must for the candidates desiring for the specified post.

For General and OBC category candidates, the amount of application fee is Rs. 250. Rs. 50 is to be paid as application fee by the candidates belonging t SC/ST/PC/Ex-SM categories. Application fee is to be paid in cash only at any branch of Indian Overseas Bank by the means of a payment challan.

The selection process for the specified post includes both written examination and a personal interview test. The written test will comprise of objective questions only. Only successfull candidates of the written test will be called for the personal interview test on the specified date.
