The University invites applications for the following Teaching posts for Departments of Hindi &

DETAILS OF ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE, ETC.
ASSISTANT PROFESSOR: Hindi.
(i) Good academic record as defined by the concerned university with at least 55%
marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading systems is followed)
at the Master's Degree level in a relevant subject from an Indian University, or an
equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
(ii) Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidates must have cleared the
National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited
by the UGC like SLET/SET.
(iii) The candidates, who are, or have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with
the University Grants Commission (Minimum standards and Procedure for Award of
Ph.D. Degree) Regulation 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the
minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointment
of Assistant Professor.
(iv) NET/SLET/SET shall also not be required for such Masters Programmes in
disciplines for which NET/SLET/SET is not conducted.
(v) Knowledge of Urdu: Essential

Registration Fee: Candidates belongs to general and OBC category have to pay the registration fee of Rs.500/- through crossed Demand Draft drawn in favour of Maulana Azad National Urdu University, Hyderabad, on any Nationalized Bank payable at Hyderabad. SC/ST/PWD candidates need not to pay the registration fee.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on their performance in interview.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates can send their applications in the prescribed format along with copies of required documents together with demand draft of registrati fee, self-addressed envelop with Rs.5/- postal stamp, through Speed/Registered post to the Registrar, Maulana Azad National Urdu University, Gachibowli, Hyderabad – 500 032 (A.P.) on or before 02-09-2013.
