The Staff Selection Commission is the main
organization responsible for the conduct of examinations towards recruitment of
the eligible candidates in Group ‘B’ and ‘C’ posts of the Ministries and
Departments of the Central Government of India. The Staff Selection Commission
announces every year through Official Notification on its website for the
invitation of candidates in different cadres of services. The Staff Selection
Commission is an added wing of the Ministry of Personnel and Training which is
formed with sole responsibility of organizing and conducting recruitment exams
and interviews for selecting eligible candidates applying to Group ‘B’ and ‘C’
posts in Government Of India.

Applying Criteria:
The candidates can apply in either online or
offline modes whichever is easier for them. The online registration can be done
from the official website of the SSC by uploading the scanned image of photo
and signature of the applicant in the online form available for this purpose.
The offline registration can be done through by taking the application forms
from any of the centres of examination as well as by downloading it online from
the official website of SSC. The form can be filled manually by entering all
the necessary details in it and sending it by post to the official address
along with all the necessary documents for this purpose.
