Number of Vacancies:  8500 (Gen-3145, SC-2069, ST- 1337, OBC- 1949).The vacancies listed there also includes those vacancies that were advertised in the previous SBI Clerical Advt for SC/ST/OBC.

Pay scale: Rs 7200-400/3-8400-500/3-9900-600/4-12300-700/7-17200-1300/1-18500-800/1-19300.

Probation Period: 6 months.Probation period is the time period during which the performance of newly appointed Candidates will be evaluated.If the Performance of candidates is satisfactory after the Probation period then HE/SHE will be regularised there by ending his/her probation period.

Eligibility Criteria: Interested Candidates who wish to apply for 8500 Assistant vacancies in the SBI must posses the below mentioned eligibility criteria.

Selection procedure, exam pattern and syllabus for RBI Assistant recruitment 2012

Selection process: The selection process for RBI recruitment for assistant job 2012 is based on Written Exam followed by Interview. The qualified candidates from the written exam only be allowed for interview. The selected candidates for recruitment for Assistant jobs in RBI will be initially posted in the Bank's office within the recruitment zone on which they have applied for.

Exam pattern: The RBI Assistant 2012 exam pattern will be of Objective type multiple choice questions which has 5 parts which carries 40 marks each. The candidates needs to qualify in each of the part for next level in the selection process. The candidates have to select to write their written examination on only center and they have to mention its name and code number in the online application form
