   Name of the Post & Number of Vacancies-Applications from eligible Indian Citizens for the positions of clerk in different states of India.
                         There are total 1100 posts available for the specified positions.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must be a citizen of India. The minimum age limit set for the post of Clerk in Indian Overseas Bank is 18 years. And the maximum age limit set for the post is 28 years as on 1 January 2011. SC/ST categories candidates will get relaxation of 5 years in upper age limit. On the otherhand, OBC category candidates will get relaxation of 3 years in upper age limit.

 Educational Qualification:

Candidates are required to have passed in HSC of 10+2+3 pattern with atleast 65% marks in aggregate from any recognized board. Candidates possessing Diploma in Banking with atleast 60% marks in aggregate from any recognized institute, are also eligible for applying on the post of Clerk in Indian Overseas Bank. Graduate candidates are desirable for the post though. Computer Literacy is must for the candidates desiring for the specified post.

Pay scale: Rs 7200-400/3-8400-500/3-9900-600/4-12300-700/7-17200-1300/1-18500-800/1-19300.

Probation Period: 6 months.Probation period is the time period during which the performance of newly appointed Candidates will be evaluated.If the Performance of candidates is satisfactory after the Probation period then HE/SHE will be regularised there by ending his/her probation period.

Eligibility Criteria: Interested Candidates who wish to apply for 8500 Assistant vacancies in the SBI must posses the below mentioned eligibility criteria.

Candidates must carefully fill the Online Application form by following the On-Screen Instruction.After submitting the Online Application form, the system will generate a Fee Payment Challan.This Fee Payment must be printed and used for Payment of Application fee in the State bank of India.After the Payment of Application fees, the registration process is completed.

Selection procedure, exam pattern and syllabus for RBI Assistant recruitment 2012

Selection process: The selection process for RBI recruitment for assistant job 2012 is based on Written Exam followed by Interview. The qualified candidates from the written exam only be allowed for interview. The selected candidates for recruitment for Assistant jobs in RBI will be initially posted in the Bank's office within the recruitment zone on which they have applied for.

Exam pattern: The RBI Assistant 2012 exam pattern will be of Objective type multiple choice questions which has 5 parts which carries 40 marks each.
